Description

The Part One of this Standard sets out minimum requirements for the design of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures.

NZS 3101 Part 1 is used by structural engineers to design concrete structures. When read along with Verification Method B1/VM1, it provides a means of complying with the performance requirements of New Zealand Building Code clause B1 Structure.

It can also be used along with Acceptable Solution B2/AS1 to demonstrate the compliance of concrete building elements with clause B2 Durability.
