Description
This Standard provides up to date information for the design of reinforced concrete masonry structures.
This revision recognizes the predominant use of reinforced concrete masonry for structural applications in NZ, and incorporates research findings specifically pertaining to the performance of reinforced and prestressed concrete masonry.
Scope
This New Zealand Standard specifies minimum requirements for the specific design of reinforced concrete masonry structures.
It is also applicable to the design of parts of other buildings, which are constructed of reinforced concrete masonry and also for the use of prestressed concrete masonry in accordance with the limit state design method.
