Description
This Standard specifies the durability requirements for steel lintels and shelf angles built into masonry.
Appendices include methods for determining durability classification of coating of lintels, as well as a method for identifying stainless steel grades.
Scope
This Standard applies to lintels and shelf angles used in masonry construction as described in AS 3700 and NZS 4210.
