Description
Part One specifies minimum requirements for the design of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures.
Part Two is a commentary that explains the provisions of Part One and provides background information and references for some requirements. In certain cases it suggests design approaches which satisfy the intent of Part One.
Scope
Applicable only to :
- structures and parts of structures complying with the materials and workmanship requirements of NZS 3109: 1987.
- buildings and special purpose and/or heavy engineering structures which are within the scope of clause 1.1.1 of NZS 4203
