Description
This Standard sets out a method for the securing and testing of cylindrical cores from hardened concrete for the determination of compressive strength for an estimate of the in-service strength of a structure or part thereof.
Scope
Because of the increased variability associated with core strengths, it is not recommended that concrete cores be used for direct quality control purposes.
