Description
This Standard sets out minimum energy efficiency requirements in terms of heat losses from domestic type hot water systems.
It applies to all domestic type hot water systems irrespective of the energy source, and covers systems that may be found in residential, industrial and commercial buildings, but excludes systems used exclusively for space heating, cooling or for processes.
The requirements are based on a practical and economic analysis of insulation costs and energy savings.
