Description
This part of Eurocode 2 gives principles and rules for structural design and detailing of concrete structures exposed to fire.
Material properties at elevated temperatures are provided for concrete and reinforcing and prestressing steels.
Temperature profiles are provided for slabs, beams and columns.
Guidance is given for design using tabulated data, simple calculation models and advanced calculation models.
There is a chapter dealing with high strength concrete. Tabular data for minimum dimensions of beams, slabs and columns are provided along with detailing rules for standard fire periods of up to 240 minutes.
