Description
This acceptable solution applied to small chimneys and to supporting hearth slabs for solid fuel burning domestic appliances.
The acceptable solutions described in this document were for chimneys built of brickwork, concrete or precast pumice concrete, that were connected to timber frame or masonry buildings complying with NZS 3604 or NZS 4229.
