Description

This Standard describes the method for determining the quality and relative bond strength of scarf joints in plywood

The test piece is firmly held in a clamp and loaded perpendicular to the grain of its face until failure occurs. The test is made on dry test pieces or test pieces prepared for the appropriate bond type test prescribed in AS/NZS 2098.2.
