Description
This Standard specifies methods for sampling and testing timber for moisture content by oven drying and by use of an electrical resistance moisture meter. Correction figures for a large number of Australian, New Zealand and imported species, seasoned, unseasoned and treated, are provided.
Scope
This Standard describes two methods for determining the moisture content of solid timber.
The two methods are;
- Oven Dry Method
- Electrical Resistance Meter Method
