Description
This standard test method covers the determination in situ of the density of undisturbed or comacted soils.
Scope
For medium and fine soils within a depth of 150mm from the working surfact either the small pouring cylinder or the large pouring cylinder may be used. For coarse soils, or for depths exceeding 150mm but not exceeding 250mm from the working surface, the large pouring cylinder shall be used.
