This recognition notice shows which building products Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) recognises under the Approved Products Certified Overseas pathway.

Product type:

• Clothes washing machines: Commercial.
• Dish washing machines: Commercial.
• Pot washing machines: Commercial.
• Fruit/vegetable peelers: Commercial.
• Glass washing machines/Milk jug rinsers: Commercial.
• Chemical dispensers: Non-portable dispensing units, or portable dispensing units (ie hand held) with an end of line backflow prevention device, not intended to directly supply drinking water, considered a low risk of back siphonage, connected to the water service and/or sanitary plumbing/drainage system.
• Steamers: Steamers not intended to directly supply drinking water, considered a low risk of back siphonage, connected to the water service and/or sanitary plumbing/drainage system.
• Steam generators: Steam generators for the warming of a steam room to a bathing temperature. This may include a sauna.
• Humidifiers: Humidifiers not intended to directly supply drinking water, considered a low risk of back siphonage, connected to the water service and/or sanitary plumbing/drainage system.
• Water doser mixers: Appliance to dose a specific volume and temperature of water in commercial bakery applications.
• Pedicure foot spas: Appliance to deliver tempered water to a receptacle for foot washing and/or hydromassage.
