Description
This verification method applies to all housing, old people’s homes, and early childhood centres including those that have habitable spaces with:
- a) complex room shapes, and
- b) rooms with borrowed daylight, and
- c) rooms with multiple windows, and
- d) other room scenarios not covered by G7/AS1 and G7/AS2.
Scope
This verification method does not consider the detrimental effects of ‘over lighting’ as this is not a requirement to demonstrate compliance with G7 Natural Light.
For buildings that cannot be simulated using the requirements of this document, an alternative means to demonstrate compliance can be used.
