Forté Millboard Envello Vertical Cladding System is designed for use as an exterior cladding or interior lining. 

Forté Millboard Envello Cladding System with 2 profiles:

1. Board & Batten+
2. Shadow Line+

The product is a composite core made from natural mineral combined with a polymer resin and reinforced fibreglass fibres, with a press-moulded natural oak outer finish. The cladding is pre-finished with a Lastane elastomer coating and 2K UV-stable finish. Both profiles come in a variety of pre-finished colours. 

Scope

1. The Forté Millboard Envello Cladding Weatherboard Vertical Cladding System is certified for use:

• a. As an exterior wall cladding on a drained cavity suitable for buildings:
  • i. timber framed to NZS3604:2011 Timber framed buildings, and;
  • ii. located in a wind zone up to and including Extra High wind zone (as specified in NZS3604:2011) and;
  • iii. within the scope of Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 para 1.1, and with risk score not greater than 20, and;
  • iv. located in any seismic zone (as specified in NZS3604:2011), and;
  • v. with the height of the Envello cladding not exceeding 10 m and located no closer than 1m from a relevant boundary and;
  • vi. in any exposure zone (excluding microclimates) (as specified in NZS3604:2011).
• b. As an interior lining in buildings:
  • i. where, if C3.4 (a) obligations apply, only in areas where a Group number of 3 or greater is s required, and;
  • ii. not in areas where E3.3.4, E3.3.5 and E3.3.6 obligations apply.

2. Millboard Cladding System shall be installed:

• a. in accordance with the Millboard Envello Board & Batten+ Vertical Cladding System (ISSUE 2025.Q3), and;
• b. in accordance with the Millboard Envello Shadow Line+ Vertical Cladding System (ISSUE 2025.Q3), and;
• c. by a licensed building practitioner with a carpentry license.
