Description

IBS Showerline® Wet Wall Lining is designed for use in bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, food preparation areas and applications where water resistance and hygienic surfaces are required.

IBS Showerline® Wet Wall Lining is an aluminium composite sheet, comprising a polyethylene (PE) core, sandwiched between layers of 0.4mm aluminium and finished with polyethylene (PE) coating.

Sheets are available in the following sizes:

• 2400 x 900 x 4.75 mm
• 2400 x 1200 x 4.75 mm

Scope

1. IBS Showerline® Wet Wall Lining is certified for use:

• a. In buildings and areas of buildings with timber or light steel framing that complies with the NZ Building Code or where the designer and/or installer have established that the existing building is structurally suitable for the intended building work.

2. IBS Showerline® Wet Wall Lining shall:

• a. be designed and installed in accordance IBS Showerline® Wet Wall Lining - Design and Installation Guide, November 2025.
• b. not be installed unless the moisture content of timber framing is less than 18%.
• c. when used as a wall lining have stud centres not exceeding 600mm.
• d. when used as a ceiling lining have strapping centres not exceeding 450mm.
• e. be installed at least 300mm away from any open gas flame and 100mm from any electrical heat source.
• f. be earthed when a power point, switch and light fitting is installed in the panel or wires run behind the sheet.
