Description

Arma Wrap SA is a white, self-adhering, fire retardant, water resistant, non-woven flexible roof and wall underlay and air barrier. It is vapour permeable, enabling internal moisture to dissipate.

ArmaWrap SA is supplied in rolls 1350 mm wide and labelled ArmaWrap SA.

ArmaWrap SA is self-adhering for use as a fully supported roof and wall underlay and air barrier.

Scope

1. ArmaWrap SA is certified for use on buildings situated in wind zones up to and including Extra High (as set out in NZS3604):

• a) as a roof and wall underlay installed on sheet sarking or rigid insulation under any roof or wall cladding, including profiled metal claddings, and
• b) as a wall underlay installed on sheet sarking with absorbent or non-absorbent wall claddings:
  • i. directly fixed to the structural substructure or;
  • ii. installed over an 18 mm minimum drained cavity including masonry veneer, and;
• c) as an air barrier.

2. ArmaWrap SA shall be:

• a) installed in accordance with the Rooflogic ARMA WRAP SA Installation Guide Issued August 2024, and;
• b) separated from fireplaces, heating appliances, flues and chimneys in accordance with the requirements of NZBC Acceptable Solutions C/AS1 and C/AS2 Paragraph 7.5.9, for the protection of combustible materials, and;
• c) protected from direct sunlight following installation within 45 days.
