Description
Bayonet BayoWrap Flame Spec Roof 07 Roof Underlay is for use as a self-supporting building underlay under roof (including durable) claddings and where it is exposed to view.
Bayonet BayoWrap Flame Spec Roof 07 Roof Underlay is a synthetic self-supporting building underlay and consists of a micro-porous waterresistant film laminated to two layers of non-woven spun bonded polyolefin.
It is coloured grey on the top face and white on the bottom face and is printed with 07 and supplied in rolls 1.25 m wide x 40 m long. The product is printed with lap lines of 150 mm along each edge for the length of the roll.
Scope
1. Bayonet BayoWrap Flame Spec Roof 07 Roof Underlay is certified for use on buildings:
- a) within the limitations of NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1, Paragraph 1.1 with regards to building height and floor plan area, and
- b) situated in wind zones up to and including Extra High (as defined in NZS3604), and
- c) with masonry tile, metal tile or profiled metal roof cladding
- d) with a minimum roof pitch of 3 degrees.
2. Bayonet BayoWrap Flame Spec Roof 07 Roof Underlay shall be installed:
- a) in accordance with the Bayonet BayoWrap Flame Spec Roof 07 Roof Underlay Product Technical Statement & Installation Guide, V3, September 2022.
- b) where the roof pitch is between 3 degrees and 10 degrees, be installed horizontally or vertically when supported by a corrosion resistant roof underlay support, or
- c) where the roof pitch is greater than 10 degrees, installed horizontally or vertically, spanning no greater than 1200mm between supports.
3. Bayonet BayoWrap Flame Spec Roof 07 Roof Underlay shall not be exposed to the weather or UV light for more than 7 days.
