Description

EcoKrete® is aerated concrete produced through the addition of proprietary foam to a certified concrete mix.

EcoKrete® is designed to be used to construct structural and non-structural members (cast in-situ and precast wall panels, roof panels, beams and slabs) for residential and commercial buildings.

Scope

1. All members using EcoKrete® must be specifically designed in accordance with B1/VM1 by a Chartered Professional Engineer (Structural).

2. EcoKrete® must be poured within 60 mins after its preparation is completed.

3. Finished structural and non-structural members subject to water ingress shall be coated with EQUUS Chevaline Coverflexx to protect the member(s) with a minimum film thickness of 130 microns.

4. This certificate shall only be used to construct structural and non-structural members (cast in-situ and precast wall panels, roof panels, beams and slabs) for residential and commercial buildings manufactured by ACCO Building Ltd.

5. Establishing compliance with the performance criteria in Building Code clauses H1.3.1(a) and H1.3.2E shall be in accordance with either of the following:

• a. the calculation method in Acceptable Solution H1/AS1 or the modelling method in H1/VM1 for all housing and buildings up to 300 m2 or the calculation method in H1/AS2 or the modelling method in H1/VM2 for buildings greater than 300 m2.
