Description
SUPER-STICK Building Tape is a cold applied self-adhering flashing tape that utilises a metalized, fibre reinforced, facer film and a high-performance copolymer adhesive that is designed to have aggressive adhesion in extreme cold and hot temperatures. It is available in rolls 75, 150 and 200mm wide by 23m long.
UPER-STICK Building Tape is a high-performance window and door flashing tape for use on Kraft Building Paper and modern laminated synthetic cloth building wraps as well as rigid air barriers made from plywood, fibre-cement and oriented strand board.
Scope
SUPER-STICK Buildig Tape shall be installed in accordance with the SUPER-STICK Building Tape Guides, Version Two - December 2016.
The scope of this certificate covers the use of SUPER-STICK Building Tape in timber and steel framed buildings;
- up to 10m in height, and
- with a risk score less than 20, when evaluated against the E2/AS1 risk matrix, and
- in wind zones up to extra high as defined in NZS3604:2011 Timber-framed buildings.
- in all corrosion zones as defined in NZS3604:2011 Timber-framed buildings.
Installation at an ambient and substrate temperature of less than -6°C falls outside the scope of this certificate.
The scope of the certificate covers the use of SUPER-STICK Building Tape with Kraft Building Paper and modern laminated synthetic cloth building wraps. For further information please contact the certificate holder.
SUPER-STICK Building Tape may be used as a joint and window sealing tape on rigid air barriers made from plywood, fibre-cement and oriented strand board. Refer to the rigid air barriers manufacturer’s specifications for tape application to joinery openings and sheet joints.
Shall not be exposed to weather or UV light for more than 90 days.
