Description

Kooltherm® K17 Insulated Plasterboard is a fibre-free rigid thermoset phenolic insulation, sandwiched between a front facing of tapered edge gypsum based plasterboard, and a reverse tissue based facing, autohesively bonded to the insulation core.

Kooltherm® K17 Insulated Plasterboard is an insulated Dry-Lining plasterboard for Adhesive bonding, and can also be mechanically fixed to concrete or masonry block walls.

Scope

1. Kingspan Kooltherm® K17 Insulated Plasterboard, must be installed in accordance with the manufacture’s installation instructions as per below;

2. Kooltherm® K17 Insulated Plasterboard is not to be used to isolate dampness nor be used in continuously damp or humid conditions.

3. Kooltherm® K17 Insulated Plasterboard is certified for use in locations where a Material Group Number not better than 2-S is required, provided the thickness of an applied finish is not greater than 0.4mm.
