Description
BS EN 295-2 is the European Standard that discusses VCP systems for drains and sewers. VCP is commonly used in gravity sewer collection mains because of its long life and resistance to almost all domestic and industrial sewage.
BS EN 295-2 is the second part of the multi-series, and specifies requirements for the evaluation of conformity of products manufactured from vitrified clay and other materials.
BS EN 295-2 provides guidance on raw materials and components, crushing strength, bending moment resistance (BMR), dimensional tolerances, tightness of pipes or pipe sections and junctions, and straightness for VCP.
