Description
This Standard sets out requirements for the supply of electricity at low-voltage to, and for temporary wiring within, concessions, tents, living quarters and other temporary structures used for entertainment or display and purposes associated therewith in shows, carnivals and in temporary low-voltage electrical installations such as those installed in temporary tent cities used for scouting jamborees, army camps and similar events.
It also makes recommendations for the in-service testing of portable and fixed electrical equipment used on such sites.
This Standard does not apply to fixed wiring within low-voltage electrical installations used in shows, carnivals and other similar events.
