Description

This standard covers the determination of time elapsed until flaming combustion ceases as well as the mass or volume of residue remaining, depending upon whether the particular material being tested is a thermoplastics, or a rigid or flexible thermoset. Results are expressed as the median and the eighth value of an ordered series and a standard deviation is calculated for use in estimating variability.
