This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO 1083:1987.

Scope

This International Standard defines the grades of spherodial graphite cast iron and their classification in two distinct categories.

1. Classification as a function of the mechanical properties measured on machined test pieces prepared from spearately cast test samples.
2. Classification as a function of the mechanical properties measured on machined test pieces prepared from spearately cast-on test samples
