Description

This standard specifies composition and test requirements. Appendices cover determination of thermal oxidative stability, weathering resistance, dispersion of pigment, sustained pressure test, resistance of pipe to internal pressure at elevated temperature and chemical resistance.

Scope

This standard specifies requirements for polyethylene compound suitable for making polyethylene pipe and fittings for gas reticulation.
