Description

Part 2 of this Standard sets out requirements for the design, construction, testing and performance of vacuum relief valves, thermosyphon arrestor valves, tempering valves, inlet pressure control valves, unspecified valves and isolating valves intended specifically for use with unvented storage water heaters.

Note: NZS 4614:1986 cites AS 1357:1972 'Water fittings for protection and control of unvented storage water heaters' in relation to solar water heaters. The 1972 edition of AS 1357 is no longer available online and has been superseded by AS 1357:1988 which was published in two parts.
