Description
The Innova™ Duragroove™ and Durascape™ Facade Systems (Direct Fix) are external, shiplap-jointed, wall cladding systems for residential and light commercial type buildings where domestic construction techniques are used.
The systems consist of vertically fixed Innova™ Duragroove™ or Durascape™ sheets, flashings and accessories.
The systems are fixed direct to the external wall framing over a wall underlay and are finished with a paint system.
Scope
The Innova™ Duragroove™ and Durascape™ Facade Systems (Direct Fix) has been appraised for use as an external wall cladding for timber-framed buildings within the following scope:
- the scope limitations of NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 for timber-framed buildings; and,
- with a risk score of 0–6, calculated in accordance with NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1; and,
- situated in Wind Zones up to, and including, Very High determined in accordance with NZS 3604.
The Innova™ Duragroove™ and Durascape™ Facade Systems (Direct Fix) must only be used with window and doors that comply with NZBC Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 or that are covered by a valid BRANZ Appraisal or NZ CodeMark Certification.
