Decision

In accordance with section 188 of the Building Act 2004, it was determined that the sleepout and veranda were carried out in contravention of section 40 as they are attached to the consented dwelling.

However, given the deficiencies of the drafting of the notices, the authority’s decisions to issue notices to fix NF0548 and NF0557 was reversed.
