Description
This determination considers the compliance pathways applicable to a bedroom window located within a return feature of the proposed building’s façade in relation to Building Code Clause G7 – Natural light.
It specifically discusses the scope of Acceptable Solution G7/AS1, as well as the exclusions outlined in paragraph 1.1.2.1 of that document.
Decision
In accordance with section 188 of the Building Act 2004, it has been determined that bedroom 3 in units 2-6 of the proposed building is within scope of G7/AS1 as a means to establish compliance with Building Code Clause G7 – Natural Light.
