Description
This Standard applies to the design and installation of corrugated steel pipes, pipe-arches and arches manufactured in accordance with AS 2041.
It covers requirements for design pressure, ring compression, allowable stress, thickness of metal, handling stiffness and soil compaction.
Sectional properties of corrugated steel sheet having 68 mm x 13 mm corrugations of 200 x 55 mm steel plate for bolted structures are included.
Tabulated appendices detail maximum cover limits for railway (M250) loading, and highway (T44-A14) loading for various structures.
