Description
The Building Code clauses C1 to C6 Protection from Fire relate to protecting people in and around buildings, limiting fire spread and helping firefighting and rescue.
This Verification Method is a means of demonstrating that a solid that a solid fuel burning appliance complies with clauses C2.2 and C2.3 of the Building Code.
Scope
This verification method is one option that provides a means of establishing compliance with the performance criteria in Building Code clauses C2.2 and C2.3. Compliance may also be demonstrated using an alternative solution.
Compliance may be verified for solid fuel burning appliances by meeting the appropriate test requirements of AS/NZS 2918.
