Description

The Forté Timber Overlay Flooring System is prefinished timer overlay flooring supplied in planks of various lengths, width and thickness depending on the "Collection" type and adhered to an appropriate structural floor substrate.

This certificate covers the following collections (Thickness (mm) x Width (mm) x Length (mm)):

• Moda Altro Collection (15 x 220 x 1830–2190)
• Moda Mezzo Collection (15 x 190 x 2190 )
• Moda Stretto Collection (15 x 138 x 2190
• Urban Collection (14 x 190 x 1830)
• Loft Collection (12 x 193 x 1830)
• Smartfloor Collection (15 x 190 x 2200)
• Ultra Collection (21 x 190 x 1900)
• Atelier Collection (15 x 220 x 2200 and (21 x 260 x 2200)
• Indus Collection (18mm T x 240 x 2400)
• Villa Collection (18 x 240 x 2400)

The Forté Timber Overlay Flooring System is designed for use as non-structural overlay flooring inside residential and commercial buildings.

Scope

1. The Forté Timber Overlay Flooring System is certified for use in:

• a. all buildings,
• b. in all areas, including level access routes likely to become wet, except:
  • i. garages and commercial kitchens, and
  • ii. unsprinklered sleeping areas and exitways in buildings where care or detention is provided, and
  • iii. Ultra and Atelia are certified for use in dry access routes only. They shall not be used in access routes likely to become wet in use.
• c. installed on the following substrates:
  • i. Concrete floors (slab-on-grade or suspended)
  • ii. Timber flooring (structural or overlay)
  • iii. Concrete floors with Hydronic Underfloor Heating system
  • iv. Electric underfloor heating system
  • v. Wet-Area Membrane systems
  • vi. Acoustic underlay.

2. The Forté Timber Overlay Flooring System shall be:

• a) designed in accordance with the design guide applicable to the product (Timber Overlay Flooring System Design Guide Edition 3.0 April 2023 or Timber Overlay Flooring System Design Guide Edition 4.0 December 2023), and
• b) installed in accordance with the Timber Overlay Flooring System Installation Guide Edition 3.0 April 2023, with special reference to the specific requirements for installation in wet areas and with underfloor heating, and
• c) separated from fuel burning appliances, flues, and chimneys in accordance with NZBC Section CAS/1.
