Description
Nuraply 3PM Torch-on Membrane System provides a waterproofing system for new and existing roofs, decks, gutters and parapets. It may also be installed on a cold roof with insulation installed below the substrate or as a warm roof with insulation installed above the substrate. Nuraply 3PM Torch-on Membrane System is suitable only for light maintenance foot traffic.
Nuraply 3PM Torch-on Membrane System is a reinforced, double-layer torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane and consists of a polymer modified bitumen cap sheet which shall be used with one of the following Base sheet options:
- Nuraply 3PB
- Nuraply 3PB-SA
- Nuraply 3PV
- Nuraply 3PV-SA
Scope
1. The Nuraply 3PM Torch-on Membrane System is certified for use with buildings:
- a. located in NZS 3604:2011 Wind Zones, up to and including Extra High.
- b. with the following substrates:
- i. timber substrates: H3.2 treated Timber, H3 treated plywood sheets complying with AS/NZ 2269:2012 and reconstituted wood panels (Strandboard. Timber preservative shall not be LOSP (light organic solvent preservative) or CuN (copper nitrate)
- ii. Concrete substrates complying with NZS 3101:2006 or NZS 3114:1987
- iii. Enertherm PIR insulation board (which may be fixed to NPM 900 metal tray decks).
2.Nuraply 3PM Torch-on Membrane System shall:
- a. have a minimum finished fall (excluding gutters) of 1:80.
- b. be installed in accordance with the Nuraply 3PM Roofing Membrane Installation Manual 2025 Edition 1.1, by a Nuralite Waterproofing Ltd approved installer (see www.nuralite.co.nz/applicator to find an approved installer).
3. The Nuraply 3PM Torch-on Membrane System may be installed directly to the substrate or with Enertherm PIR insulation boards between.
4. Ventilation of timber roof spaces shall be specifically designed.
