Description
This Standard sets out two methods for pressure testing of unplasticized PVC (UPVC) pipe joints with elastomeric seals for pressure applications, viz a positive internal pressure test (hydrostatic test), and a negative internal/ positive external pressure test (vacuum test). These tests are intended as type tests to demonstrate the adequacy of design and manufacturing process.
