This determination arises from the decision of the territorial authority to refuse to issue a code compliance certificate for an 8-year-old house because it was not satisfied that it complied with certain clauses of the Building Code . The matters for determination are: 1- Whether the claddings as installed on the house comply with Clauses B2 and E2 (see sections 177 and 188 of the Act); 2- Whether the building elements comply with Clause B2 'Durability' of the Building Code, taking into account the age of the building work.
