Description

This is the third and final report prepared during research into the role of roof underlays for moisture management in roof spaces. The report describes the physical properties of a range of roof underlays, the results of field and laboratory experiments aimed at studying the role of underlays in managing moisture, and an analytical model reprducing some of the experimental results. The proposal for a new test, called 'surface water no drip test', is also described. This could replace the current 'absorbency test'.
