Description

Quick 2 Seal is a waterproofing membrane for decks, roofs, walls, and gutters.

Quick 2 Seal is a two pack, flexible, self-priming waterproofing membrane. Components include:

• Part A (Base) and Part B (Hardener)
• 2-Seal Primer (solvent free two-part etch primer)
• Cohe Group Seam Tape (Butyl rubber self-adhesive tape)
• Cohe Group Geofabric

Scope

1. Quick 2 Seal is certified for use:

• a. on buildings located in
  
  • i. all exposure zones (as in NZS3604:2011) except microclimates
  • ii. all wind zones up to and including Extra High (as in NZS3604:2011)
• b. applied to the following substrates:
  
  • plywood
  • concrete
  • butynol
  • torch-on membrane, and
• c. with a minimum finished gradient of at least 1.5°.

2. Where Quick 2 Seal is applied to a deck which provides an access route, the access route shall be level and the Quick 2 Seal membrane on the access route shall be kept dry or protected from water.

3. Quick 2 Seal shall be applied:

• a. by a Cohe Group approved applicator who shall provide an “Approved Applicator” Certificate supplied by Cohe Group on request, and
• b. in accordance with the Quick 2 Seal Installation Manual V3.2.
