Description

Verification Method G10/VM1 provides a means of testing to establish that piping systems will withstand a forseeable pressure without significant leakage. It provides a means of compliance with Building Code Clause G10 Piped Services.

G10 requires the safe distribution of hot, cold or toxic substances.

In buildings provided with potentially hazardous services containing hot, cold, flammable, corrosive or toxic fluids, this clause requires the installations to be constructed to provide adequate safety for people.

This ensures piping systems must be constructed to avoid leaks or damage, contamination, adverse interaction between services and contact.  Also that they are clearly identified.
