Extensive publicity over recent years about the leaky building problem has led to the discovery of a large number of buildings in New Zealand that have problems related to water penetration.

Builders play a fundamental role in the construction of weathertight buildings. This book aims to provide guidance for builders and associated subtrades in the basics of the weathertight construction of light timber-framed residential buildings.

The revised epub edition has been updated to incorporate key changes in E2/AS1 resulting from Amendment 5.
