Description
This Stnadard specifies design and construction requirements for household type solar water heaters with storage capacities up to 700 L. It is applicable to units boosted by electricity or gas, and to those with no supplementary energy source. Test methods are included for freeze protection, resistance to water penetration, hail resistance and the ability to withstand stagnation conditions.
