Description
This Standard specifies the sound pressure level test required to test the performance of electrically operated smoke alarms, containing both detection and alarm facilities.
Scope
This standard sets out the method of determining the sound pressure level emitted from an actuating device in the alarm site. (See the performance requirements in the appropriate device standard).
