Description
This Standard specifies equations for the calculation of the annual energy consumption of electric and gas storage water heaters based on a daily energy output of 37.7 MJ (equivalent to 200 L of water raised in temperature by 45°C). Equations for gas water heaters are not specified directly but by reference to AGA Code AG 102. Derivation of equations for electric water heaters is given in an appendix.
