Description

This determination arises because the authority is not satisfied that the eight houses comply with certain clauses of the Building Code in respect of the installed foul water drainage systems. The authority has refused to issue code compliance certificates for the eight houses. The matters to be determined are therefore whether: 1-the installed foul water drainage systems to the eight houses comply with Clauses B2Durability and G13Foul water of the Building Code (Schedule 1 of the Building Regulations 1992); 2-the houses comply with the other relevant clauses of the Building Code; 3-the authority correctly exercised its power when it refused to issue a code compliance certificate for the eight houses in question.
