This determination arises from the authority's decision to decline to issue a code compliance certificate for an 8-year-old a house because it was not satisfied that the building work complies with certain clauses of the Building Code as the building work had been undertaken under the supervision of a building certifier.

Based on the information available, the matters for determination, in terms of sections 177(a) and 188 of the Act are:
