Description

The dispute for determination is whether the territorial authority's decision to decline to issue a code compliance certificate for a relocated house because it was not satisfied that the monolithic cladding to some of the walls of the house complied with clauses B2 Durability and E2 External Moisture of the Building Codeis correct. The question to be determined is whether the monolithic wall cladding as installed to some of the external walls of the building complies with the Building Code (see sections 177 and 188 of the Act). The territorial authority has not referred to the weatherboard cladding as being an issue for this house. Accordingly, consideration of the weatherboard cladding does not form part of this determination.
