Description

Acceptable Solution G15/AS1 provides a means of compliance with Building Code Clause G15 Solid Waste.

Building Code Clause G15 provides for the safe and hygienic collection, holding prior to disposal of solid waste.

It requires buildings to have space and facilities for the collection, and safe hygienic holding prior to disposal, of solid waste arising from the intended use of the buildings.

It sets requirements for rubbish chutes and for the disposal of suitably treated waste to drains if acceptable to the network utility operator.
