Description

Acceptable Solution E2/AS4 provides a means of compliance  with New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) clause E2 External moisture for light steel framed buildings. 

Building Code Clause E2 requires external roof, wall claddings and external openings to prevent external moisture from causing undue dampness or damage.

Scope

This Acceptable Solution - The NASH Building Envelope solution provides a compliance pathway for Light steel framed buildings within the scope identified in its paragraphs 1.1 – 1.2.4 for NZBC clause E2 External moisture.

Compliance with other NZBC clauses such as E3 Internal moisture and H1 Energy efficiency require their own detailed consideration.
