This Standard outlines the conditions which are required to be met to secure approval for the sale and use of electrical equipment.
Only safety matters and related conditions are covered. This Standard runs in parallel with the requirements for shaver supply units in AS/NZS 61558.2.5, Safety of Power Transformers, Power Supplies, Reactors and combinations thereof, Part 2.5: Particular requirements for transformers for shavers, power supply units for shavers and shaver supply units (IEC 61558-2-5 Ed 2, MOD).
