This Standard specifies requirements for the design, construction and performance of both direct-acting and indirect-acting powder-actuated (PA) hand-held tools. Appendices include methods for measuring the velocity of fasteners discharged from PA tools and for determining the ability of a PA tool to resist accidental firing when dropped.
