This Standard specifies a method for the determination of the resistance of painted coatings to one of five defined cycles of wet (salt fog)/dry/humidity conditions using specified solutions.

Scope

This practice is limited to the methods of obtaining, measuring and controlling exposure conditions, and procedures. For the evaluation of results refer to AS 1247.
